'METAL' MIKE CHLASCIAK To Release 'Terrifying' Guitar Instruction Books

March 15, 2007

C.M.M. Entertainment, LLC has set a May 1 release date for "Metal" Mike Chlasciak's (PAINMUSEUM, HALFORD, SEBASTIAN BACH) guitar instructional books "Ridiculous Riffs for the Terrifying Guitarist" and "Monster Coordination - Guitar Boot Camp".

Commented Mike: "I am proud to announce the release of my two guitar instructional books. First and foremost, they are written in easy to understand language and are geared for metalhead guitarists. No insane schematics or a bunch of confusing black dots on the page. You will be using the material quickly.

"Ridiculous Riffs for the Terrifying Guitarist' is a tour de force of no-nonsense guitar licks, tricks and lead guitar concepts. The book is a huge compilation of my favorite licks, techniques and ideas on the guitar. Topics include 'Motivation', 'Practicing Methods' plus chapters on 'Terrifying Pentatonics', 'Terrifying Arpeggios', 'Scalar and Speed Sequences' and the 'Ridiculous Department' which showcases some truly insane guitar ideas not for the weak of heart. But do not fear, new spins on simple blues scales and plenty of tips will welcome the less experienced guitarist. I have included theory application for all examples. Everything is written in both regular notation and tablature.

"'Monster Coordination' is a practice manual for developing your dexterity, coordination and speed on the guitar. It contains only the best exercises I have come across as a guitarist. Diagrams, tablature and corresponding explanation shed light on each excercise. Warm-up, stretching, strengthening and how to tell if you are getting better — it's all there, and then some. I have included all of the exercises that I have used for years and still use today. These books are a comprehensive technique building tools for heavy metal minded guitarists at all levels. BassDog Design delivered a great look for these which will hopefully enhance your experience with the titles. If you believe that you have been stuck in a rut, these books will help you. I do not believe that you will be disappointed."

Both books will be available May 1 at the Metal Mike Armory Store at www.metalmike.net. Metal Mike Armory Store is offering a pre-sale, so you can get your own copy by April 1. The pre-sale features special pricing, free shipping, set of Metal Mike guitar picks and the first 150 books of each title will be signed by Metal Mike. One pre-order customer will be chosen at random and will receive a call from Metal Mike, who will personally check on your progress. Ten pre-order customers will receive a copy of Metal Mike's new PAINMUSEUM EP "You Have the Right to Remain Violent". To receive more info on pre-ordering, send an e-mail to [email protected] with the heading "Metal Books".
